Student Associations
The student association (BDE), “Parallèle”, established in 2017 aims to bring together students for various activities, to make the link between the administration of ENSA Nantes (Mauritius) and students and to maintain a quality student experience within the school. The association is managed by a president and vice-president elected each year and includes several subcommittees that oversee the different aspects of student life – sponsorship, public relations, athletics and sports, activities, culture and equipment. A calendar of activities is established at the beginning of the semester by the association that contributes to the campus culture. The president and vice-president are also present at the orientation committees.
Isik’Archi
Isik’Archi is an association founded in 2020 by Malagasy students and former students in architecture from ENSA Nantes (Mauritius). Its main purpose is to promote architecture in Madagascar which is a neglected subject in the country. Few people know the meaning of architecture and there are only 67 architects registered in the order in 2020 for all the extent of the island. As a result, the role of the Isik’Archi association is to share a common passion for architecture, to make known the value of Malagasy architecture and especially to guide and accompany students in their career. The activities organized by Isik’Archi are local (Madagascar), digital (competitions, webinars among others) and even internationally citing Mauritius and France. Isik’Archi welcomes all those who are passionate about architecture and who have a desire to join their cause no matter where they are.
