ENSA NANTES ( MAURITIUS )
The Nantes School of Architecture was established in 1969 and is one of the twenty national schools of architecture in France. Located on an urban campus in the heart of the Ile de Nantes since 2009, the school offers courses in the fields of architecture, urban planning, scenography and naval architecture in a building designed by Lacaton & Vassal, winners of the Grand Prix National de l’architecture in 2008.
ENSA Nantes opened a branch campus in Mauritius in 2016, on the Uniciti Education Hub campus in Pierrefonds, in a process of internationalization on the African continent and in the Indian Ocean. The school is an open-air pedagogical laboratory where experimentation and teaching are linked and welcomes a hundred students each year. Like ENSA Nantes, it fosters a dynamic environment for a rich and diverse student life.
Bachelor of Architecture & Urbanism
The Bachelor of Architecture and Urbanism at ENSA Nantes (Mauritius) is a three-year fundamental degree in the professional fields of architecture, design and spatial design. This is an intermediate level of training that gives access to the Master of Architecture and Urbanism and other postgraduate degrees in the field of construction, urban planning and spatial planning.
Master of Architecture & Urbanism
The Master of Architecture and Urbanism is a two-year advanced degree and leads to the State Diploma of Architecture (DEA) which confers the master’s degree. It allows the student to master critical thinking in relation to architectural issues, to master autonomously the design of an architectural project by deepening its fundamental concepts, methods and knowledge.
